A landmark moment for public transport in Queensland.

We’re proud to share that our Australian Bus Division, Transit Systems, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Ipswich and Logan Bus Services Improvement Package - our first franchised bus contract in Queensland following a competitive tender process. This milestone recognises the rapid growth of the region and the role public transport plays in supporting connected, sustainable communities, as well as providing local employment opportunities.

Backed by state investment in new buses, depot infrastructure, and bus stops, Kelsian Group CEO Graeme Legh said this expansion represents a strong commitment to liveability, accessibility, and opportunity for the community.

Translink said the new routes in stage one will enhance public transport for more than 42,300 residents, and about 8,200 residents will benefit from bus services for the first time. Transit Systems services are scheduled to start in November 2025.
